Abstract

The complexity generated by the technologies of the information, in their relations with the individual in particular and the organizations in general, leads to approaches and practical proposals for the configuration of the innovation Scire. 4 : 2 (jul.-dic. 1998) 105-114. mechanisms of the organizations, in an environment where the only constant is change. In an era of continuous and agonising transformation, when we are still grappling to the traditional dominant models, technological innovation —understood as the process and the set of changes produced as consequence of a technology — is presented in organisations as a problem of management of the technological and sociological complexity. The most considerable obstacle for innovation —and consequently for the treatment of the complexity— are the intrinsic characteristics of information and its treatment through technology. That is because of the inner complexity of information, technology and the environment of the relationships that creates with the human being
