State of the art in the area of bibliographical repertories in the field of art in Spain, including the following topics: art and archaeology, general art history bibliographies, regional art bibliographies and specialized bibliographies. The instrumental value of these bibliographical repertories o art bibliographies is their main interest as documentation sources. The purpose of this paper is to provide Spanish researchers and historians with a working tool to assist them in locating the necessary information to carry out research in the disciplines mentioned above.
