Abstract

The experience of creating and managing a documentation center at the service of researchers in the R&D project Cyberactivism, digital citizenship and new urban movements (Cibermov), is presented as a practical example of the important work that can be carried out by library and information science specialists in this type of projects. We explain the various functions performed by this, focusing especially on the development and management of a database of selected bibliographic and audiovisual sources around the thematic scope of the project.

Rubén Domínguez-Delgado, Universidad de Sevilla

Es licenciado en Comunicación Audiovisual, licenciado en Periodismo y doctor, con Premio Extraordinario de Doctorado, por la Universidad de Sevilla, así como profesor en el Departamento de Periodismo I de esta universidad desde 2008. Sus investigaciones se centran en el ámbito de la documentación audiovisual, especialmente en su vertiente fílmica, así como en el de la documentación periodística y en los problemas actuales del periodismo, temáticas sobre las que ha publicado diversos artículos científicos en revistas nacionales e internacionales. Actualmente, participa como investigador en el proyecto de I+d Ciberactivismo, ciudadanía digital y nuevos movimientos urbanos (referencia CSO2016-78386-P).

María-Ángeles López-Hernández, Universidad de Sevilla

Es licenciada en periodismo por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, doctora en periodismo por la Universidad de Sevilla, y profesora Titular de Universidad en el Departamento de Periodismo I de la Universidad de Sevilla. Su actividad investigadora se centra en el análisis y estudio metodológico de la gestión documental llevada a cabo en los archivos periodísticos y audiovisuales. Es autora de libros sobre selección documental y documentación audiovisual, así como de diversos artículos científicos relacionados con los problemas actuales del periodismo y su incidencia en la gestión documental. Actualmente, participa como investigadora en el proyecto de I+d Ciberactivismo, ciudadanía digital y nuevos movimientos urbanos (referencia CSO2016-78386-P).
