A hermenêutica na Ciência da Informação
da revisão de literatura ao esboço de uma metodologia

Este trabalho aborda a importância da revisão de literatura e do paradigma interpretativo para a Ciência da Informação, não só enquanto domínio de um objeto de estudo, mas também enquanto uma oportunidade para gerar novo conhecimento científico. Neste sentido, verifica-se como a hermenêutica pode servir os interesses da Ciência da Informação e dos ambientes científicos modernos. Propõe-se uma interpretação do círculo dialético hermenêutico do filósofo Hans-Georg Gadamer e constata-se que tal pode servir os estudos em Ciência da Informação, tanto para a interpretação das autoridades como para a estruturação da informação. Para exemplo disto mesmo, apresenta-se um esboço de uma abordagem metodológica hermenêutica, aplicada a uma tese de doutoramento concluída na área da organização do conhecimento.
